OFW na namatay sa Kuwait, iniuwi sa Pinas; pamilya, nagulat dahil maling bangkay ang dumating

The corpse of Jenny Sanchez Alvarado, an OFW who died in Kuwait on Jan. 2, was sent home to the Philippines on Jan. 10.

However, her family was surprised when they found out that it was a different corpse that was inside the box.

Details of Jenny were written on the box, which was why the family could not easily accept everything.

GMA's Unang Balita reported that it was the corpse of the Nepali co-worker of Jenny that was in the box.

Based on the documents from the Ministry of Health of Kuwait, the cause of death of Jenny was cardiac and respiratory arrest.

Based on the report forwarded to the OWWA, the cause of death was "suffocation.

"Three domestic workers tragically lost their lives due to suffocation from coal in Kabd Area."
