Charlie Puth, nagpost ng mga larawan nila ni Liam Payne; "I am so upset right now"

Charlie Puth, an American singer-songwriter, wrote a touching message for his late friend Liam Payne.

Payne, who was once part of the popular UK boy band One Direction, passed away on Wednesday after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires.

Puth shared some of their memories together through Instagram Reels.

He wrote, "I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I can not believe he is gone..."

"I am so upset right now, may he rest in peace," added Puth.

People worldwide are grieving the loss of Payne, who was only 31 years old.

Liam Payne, born in 1993, gained fame as part of the boy band One Direction. He first auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 and rejoined in 2010, forming the successful group. After the band went on hiatus in 2015, Payne started a solo career, releasing hit singles like "Strip That Down." His solo album LP1 came out in 2019, and he saw major success as a solo artist. Payne passed away in 2024 after a fall from a hotel in Buenos Aires.
